Voltage Rise Report Template

Voltage Rise Report Template

Download the PDF for use on your solar connection applications

Downloads:

Download the attached PDF report template and use it for your solar connection applications.

Read our article about how to calculate voltage rise for solar installations.

A software-generated diagram illustrating electrical power calculations and voltage rise.

Cable Pro Web software can calculate voltage rise and create this voltage rise report automatically.

How to use the template report:

  1. Calculate voltage rise for each section of an installation.
  2. Sum the total voltage rises ensuring the maximum allowable limit is not exceeded. Refer to our article about the allowable limits per the Standards.
  3. Print the template report, write the voltage rise for each section and the total voltage rise along with the allowable limit.
You should also include the cable size, length, and conductor material for each section.
  4. Send to your power authority for review and approval.
